Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) has finally found his estranged father.
Holmes will be arriving from New York to help his son, Sherlock, overcome his latest relapse, according to Speaking at a press conference to announce the inclusion of Noble as Season 4 regular, show creator Robert Doherty said, "We could not be more delighted to have John Noble taking on such an important role.We've enjoyed his work for many years now - especially his tremendous run on 'Fringe' - and cannot wait to see him opposite Jonny and Lucy.It's going to be an exciting season." Elementary executive producer Robert Doherty told Entertainment Weekly that with Sherlock's latest relapse, Joan will not be there anymore to keep the younger Holmes sober in Season 4.Doherty said, "Joan will not revert to sober companion mode. Yes, she can and will be helpful to Sherlock, but primarily as a friend and a partner." One important development fans should expect in the upcoming Elementary Season 4 is whether Oscar is still alive.To recall, Sherlock gave Oscar a good beating when he found out that his former drug dealer was responsible for the death of his sister Olivia due to heroin overdose.The Season 3 finale was not clear if Oscar died because of the beating or will he appear again in Season 4.Noble's character as Sherlock's estranged rich dad is also an interesting development for the show, said Ecumenical News.Sherlock has never spoken kindly of his father in previous episodes of Elementary.
